African national-team history, not a club draft
The AFCON pool includes Egypt, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Mali, DR Congo, Zambia and Burkina Faso. Each rolled nation and era limits your choices for that round. A player’s club reputation alone does not make them eligible for every national-team context, and a rolled pool is not a list of the current tournament’s qualified countries.
Combine nations while filling a real formation
You are building a combined XI rather than managing one country’s current roster. Consider the positions still open before selecting a well-known attacker. Goalkeeping, natural fullbacks and midfield cover are part of the same eleven-player draft. A flexible player can preserve options when a later nation-and-era roll does not offer the specialist you hoped to find.
Simulate the tournament after your final pick
Once the XI is complete, the engine runs the configured group-and-knockout challenge. Read the campaign report to distinguish a regulation result from advancement after extra time or penalties. A tournament victory and a perfect match record are different outcomes. The simulation uses modeled player attributes and team fit; it is not a betting forecast or a claim about what a real national team would do.
An independent game with its own format
AFCON mode uses historical eras and the game’s seven-match format, not a live edition’s squads, fixtures, qualification or official draw. UndefeatedXI is an independent fan project, not an official CAF product. Try Nation XI if you prefer a single-country constraint, or World Cup mode for a wider international player pool. The mode guide compares those choices before you draft.
